Murray Water District – #2 Water Main

    Murray, Kentucky – Calloway County

    Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. was responsible for the hydraulic analysis, utility design and project management for Murray Water District #2, a 17,300 L.F. (approximately 3.28 miles) 6” water main extension.  The said project is adjacent to Ky. Hwy. 1497, A.K.A. Murray-Paris Road and Tobacco Road.  This project linked two water districts (641 Water District & Murray Water District #2) together with a bi-directional water meter to monitor water usage. Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. submitted and obtained required permits from Kentucky Division of Water which included permits for both the water main and construction in and along existing streams.
